| The Paterson Police Superior Officers Association is the collective
bargaining unit for the Paterson Police Superiors from the rank of Sergeants
to the rank of Deputy Chief. The role of the Superior Officers Association
is to protect the rights of its members under Federal and State law, as well
as under the contractual agreement made between the SOA and the City of
Paterson. |

Today the Superior Officers Association has a membership of 63 Sergeants, 25 Lieutenants, 6 Captains and 2 Deputy Chiefs. The Superior Officers Association membership is united with the rank and file officers of PBA Local # 1 and together the good and welfare of the Police Department and PBA Local # 1 has always come first. |

The members of PBA Local # 1 Superior Officers Association are
represented by their President Detective/Sgt. Ron King, their Vice President
Sgt. Vincent Colella, their Treasurer Detective/Sgt. Burt Ribero , their Secretary
