About Us:

Welcome to the Paterson Policemen Benevolent Association's (P.B.A.), Website!

We believe that you will find our site interesting and informative. The P.B.A. is constantly looking for ways to improve its communications with it's members and we are glad to also offer our wedsite as an informative resource to the general public.

We are a labor union comprised of police officers, sergeants and command personnel of the Paterson Police Police Department. We devoted, and dedicated towards the needs of our members, and over the years have taken action on matters of importance to Law Enforcement Officers. The P.B.A. has been and will continue to be proactive, in its fight for better working conditions, higher salaries, more benefits, and greater pensions.

The Paterson Police Department exists to serve all the people within the city with respect, fairness, honesty, courage, compassion and integrity. The P.B.A. membership is committed to the prevention of crime, protection of life and property, safety, enforcement of laws and ordinances and the safeguarding of constitutional rights and guarantees.

The P.B.A. leadership also has a foundation of providing protection and community service, and as such, we will strive to reach our goal to enhance the quality of life of the residents Paterson and of the fellow members we serve.

By holding ourselves to the highest standards of performance, professional conduct and ethics, we believe that we shall develop a community partnership and public trust
to fulfill our mission.
